OK HI SEXY GREEN PEOPLE!!! we went to bukit timah on 20th January 2011 (SO SEXY!)

We learned many things about the rainforest and guess what! there is only 6% of the rainforest in the world left!!!! and in Singapore we cleared more than 90% of our forested areas are being deforested for LAND!(OMG MAN! SO UNSEXY!)DID YOU KNOW that the rain forest have the most amount of animal and plant variety and the number of variety of both animals and plants in Singapore are equivalent or even more then the whole of USA!(SEXY!)

Fact
There are around 900 flowering plants and around 100 fern species and 100 non flowering plants.(OMG!!)

There are 5 layers in a rain forest:
-Emergent , canopy , under story , shrub and undergrowth layer.

  

Hi I am a sexy Liana . I'm long , curvy and I climb up trees for support , I need them. I am also hollow and contain alot of water and I reproduce by seeds. If you are lost and thirsty , you can cut me and drink my water.

ELLO! im a bad lilly=) I live near the ground where its moist and low sunlight as it is the condition where i best live in=)

Im a Peacock fern, i live at the undergrowth layer!! i love humid and low sunlight area

              



Im a leaf little plant =)! i trap dead leaves in the middle of my leaves and i have roots on top as well so i can absorb the nutrients from the decomposing leaves

Im a scorpion tail plant! my new leaves looks like a scorpion tail which describes my name =)

OMG AT LAST A FUNGI!! i help in decomposition=) YEA BABY!

a decomposing log, it has a hollow inner trunk because i have a soft middle!

                                    MONINTOR LIZZARD FERN! i hav a monintor lizzard underside describing my name =)

                                    my under side of the leaf contains spore bags to reproduce

            RATTHAN! i have a spikey leaf where i can cling on to trees.. i can be used to make a cane to smack u!
